Actress Taapsee Pannu did not have great journey in Tollywood but she is leaving no stone to make it big in Bollywood. She appeared in few films which garnered good response, but the due recognition went to the makers and other leads. However, the actress has managed to grab little attention of few filmmakers. Taapsee has been roped to play the female lead role in 'Agra Ka Daabra' opposite to Ayushmann Khurrana.

Dil Raju buys Gopala Gopala

Popular producer Dil Raju has bought the distribution rights of Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer 'Gopala Gopala' movie for Nizam region. According to the sources, Raju has bought the movie rights for Rs 13.4 crores, which is quite high when compared to the previous films of Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan. 'Gopala Gopala' will light the screens for Sankranthi season and expectations are high.

Milky beauty Tamannaah's first look from 'Baahubali' movie has been revealed. On the eve of Tamannaah's birthday, the makers have released the first look and Tammu will be seen as 'AVANTHIKA' in this film. The 'Aagadu' heroine just looked like a fairy, stretching her arms and the background of waterfalls is amazing.

Baahubali is currently shooting in Bulgaria and the main leads of the film are taking part in it. SS Rajamouli is directing the film and is being made with a budget of above Rs 150 crores. Baahubali will be made in two parts and the first installment is expected for Summer 2015.

Prabhas, Rana and Anushka will be seen in other important roles. MM Keeravani is providing music.

Balakrishna Seeks Fans Opinion

Hero Nandamuri Balakrishna who is working for untitled film, has sought his fans opinion for naming the movie. For this Balayya took the help of social networking site Facebook and asked what title would best suit his next film. Along with a snap from the upcoming movie, Balayya gave three options to fans and they are Lion, Godsey and Warrior.

All the three titles were making round in tinsel town for quite sometime now and it is upto the fans to decide. However, Balakrishna fans wish to see him as a fighter and so 'Warrior' could be more preferred while 'Lion' title can't be ruled out.

This is rare experiment by Balakrishna who is not much into social life.

A film on Bal Thackeray

Shiv Sena is coming with a film on its founder, late Bal Thackeray however, the party is silent over this and still not sure whether it is a biopic mainstream film or a short film. When repeated attempts were made to comment on this, Shiv Sena MP and Editor of Sena's mouthpiece Sanjay Raut told the PTI that, they are making a film on Bal Thackeray.

Uddhav Thackeray's son Aditya is known to behind this project and the pictures of the film are creating abuzz in the social media. However, few sources say that it is a short film and is directed by a noted director who has enough experience in Marathi and Hindi films. As per the sources, the film will release on January 23rd which also marks the birthday of Bal Thackeray.

In fact it was the demand of Shiv Sena supporters and well-wishers to come up with a film on the late leader. Bal Thackeray breathed his last in November 2012.

Internet giant Google has paid tribute to legendary Bollywood actor and filmmaker, Raj Kapoor on his 90th birth anniversary by dedicating a special doodle. Raj Kapoor was seen in the avatar from his  movie 'Shree 420' [1955] in the doodle and the film's most romantic episode of the lead pair holding umbrella in the rain the has the backdrop.

Raj Kapoor is known as the 'Show Man' and recognised as one of the greatest film personality in the Indian Cinema. Raj Kapoor has two national awards and nine Filmfare awards to his credits. Raj died in 1988 at the age of 63 with complications related to asthama.
